National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), a central government general insurance company was founded on 6thDecember 1906. Headquarter of this corporation is situated in Kolkata, India. Company has published customer care numbers, Toll Free numbers and Email Id so that customers may get all the information regarding their queries.


NICL worked as a subsidiary of General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC). For the circulation of insurance general products through the bank sections in Uttarakhand, Haryana and New Delhi NIC signed reconciliation with Nainital bank in 2004.

In 2008, the company signed a contract with HCL Technologies worth of Rs. 400 crores to redistribute the company’s information technology essentials over 7 years. In 2013 NIC was awarded as “The Best Insurance Company”. After getting this award it declared special discount on New Policies.

  2. My individual Mediclaim policy has not yet renewed bearing client I'd no-9512901183 "My renewal date is15/12/2015"Moreover I have visited div-4 Branch with my agent but the staff over there are careless&Misbehaving namely Debjit&AshokWho are doing underwriting work over there

  4. I have paid my bike insurance premium through online transfer using NIC mobile app. Three days left but till date I have not received policy copy through email or by post.
    You are asking customers to pay premium on time but when we pay the premium you are simply forgot customer to send premium receipt? It's great.... Nxt time I don't want to continue any policy in your company.

    I Adv. Santosh Bhartiya purchased the car tata nano twist from concord tata motors, pune vehicle no. MH12 LV 0249 and policy no. 55270031146160219823 dated 25 Feb 2015 of National Insurance Company Limited was issued along with vehicle delivery. Before expiry of insurance I contacted to concord motor then one agent of your company contacted on 22 Feb 2016 and gave the A/C No. of National Auto Wheels Pvt Ltd. i.e 058105500098 of ICICI BANK Magarpatta Hadapsar IFSC Code ICIC0000581 and asked to deposit the amount of Rs.6104, in which amount of Rs.6104 was deposited by me through NEFT vide UTR No. 316053306898.

    2. Till date I could not receive any documents from insurance company and on 22nd April 2016 it was told to me that policy could not be renewed. I would like to ask the fact from you about my policy renewal and when policy will be dispatched to me if not then who is responsible for the non compliance of the act.If reply/policy is not received within five days then legal action will be initiated against the company.On 23rd a call came from 02066036814 and she told that my renewal policy will be issued by Miss Meenakshi of concord motors as she was the executive at the time of purchase and it is her duty not the caller, sinces on 22nd it was inquired by me.Hence I request you to issue my renewal policy at the earliest otherwise if any incident/accident occurs in absence of policy your company will be liable for the insuring full amount due to negligence act on your part with customer.

    my cars insurance policy no. is 40130031156160000108. i faced a accident on 8/3/2016 and went to repair at prem moters on 6/3/2016. i paid rs. 9912 against invoice no. BR15018164 but i got amount by you rs. 5731 on 1/5/2016 in my account. my policy were zero depth. you did not pay remaining amount rs. 4181. please pay my remaining amount within 15 day otherwise you will be responsible for any suit.

    I have tried to renew the motor cycle policy (policy No:57010431146200009482) and when i am proceeding it is displaying an error content in the webpage .This is the second time i am reporting an issue.Last time on Nov 16th also i have the same issue and i have reported it.What service are you providing if i can't renew my policy from online.please do the needful immediately.
